Safer Internet Day Assembly 2024

A brand new assembly to celebrate Safer Internet Day 2024! This year’s theme focuses on ‘Inspiring change? Making a difference, managing influence, and navigating change online.’ Designed for use with students in UKS2 or KS3/4, this interesting and engaging video delves into our ever-changing digital landscape, exploring both the advancement of technology over time and what the future may hold as we become increasingly exposed to the dual nature (both helpful and harmful) of artificial intelligence. We will examine recent changes in legislation, specifically the 2023 Online Safety Act, and its implications for both online safety and freedom of speech.
