Strikes and Trade Unions Citizenship
A detailed, differentiated and editable Citizenship lesson which will last you roughly an hour (possibly an hour and a half) all about how effective striking is as a method of direct action. This is a brand new lesson, with both historical examples and a focus on the summer 2022 rail strikes. Can be used with KS3 or KS4 as there are a wide variety of tasks, all heavily differentiated. Activities are well-differentiated with three-level challenges for each task, a detailed and colourful PowerPoint, clips with differentiated questions, clear measurable LOs and also literacy and numeracy activities.
