Ageism - Prejudice and Discrimination
A fully-resourced lesson which serves as an introduction to ageism, which can be used as part of an anti-discrimination unit. The lesson examines why there can be conflict between generations, ageism in the workplace, the ‘OK Boomer’ memes and the discrepancy between the political views highlighted by recent current affairs. The lesson has been created for PSHCE, but would be useful as a Citizenship / interesting Drop Down Day session too. The lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, detailed information sheets, differentiated challenge activities and worksheets, clips tasks with questions and a literacy / debate focus task. These resources have been designed to be engaging, detailed and easy to follow.
