Family and commitment, This fully resourced PSHE lesson is suitable for either upper KS2 or lower KS3. It covers different families (adoptive, same sex, extended family, foster, nuclear, single-parent, more) and different types of commitment, as well as discussing changing gender roles and how this has affected family structures over time. The lesson emphasises that there is no such thing as a ‘normal’ family and that love is the most important thing (as specified by the new 2020 PSHE Association Guidelines).
