The Water Safety Code - New for the 2024/2025 Academic Year
This newly developed lesson aligns with both the 2020 statutory guidance and the former government's proposed changes to the RSHE curriculum. As part of our Year 4 mini-unit on summer safety, this lesson focuses on the four essential steps in the Water Safety Code: identifying dangers, staying together, responding in an emergency, and knowing what to do if you fall into water.
The lesson is both challenging and scaffolded, featuring a range of engaging activities. It is fully resourced and ready to use, while remaining editable for customisation to meet the needs of your students.
