Correct Condom Use - Contraception lesson PSHE

Condom use contraception lesson - New 2024 PSHE lesson all about why condoms are such great contraceptives for both preventing pregnancies and STIs, as well as how to correctly put on a condom and use it successfully. Students will explore the history of the humble condom, why they are so popular, how they have helped people globally, where they can pick them up for free and what to watch out for, such as tears and expiry dates. There are tasks for students to correctly order the steps of putting on a condom, literacy tasks, clip tasks, analysis and creative tasks - but also this lesson can be used as a frame for teachers to use models and real condoms (if they choose) to show their students. Created for KS3 but could be used as a reminder for KS4.
