Knife Crime and Gang Influences PSHE Lesson

A two-hour lesson all about knife crime, who is particularly vulnerable to become involved and why and the measures the UK is taking to keep young people safe. Students will investigate the link with wider gang violence and influence, and the pressure put on gang members to commit illegal activities. They will also examine the consequences of knife crime, on victims and perpetrators as well as the lasting effect on families and communities. They will explore personal stories from those who turned their lives aroound, but still live with many regrets of ever getting involved in the first place.
