Seeking permission (consent) & unsafe touch

Seeking permission (consent) & unsafe touch PSHE lesson. In this lesson, the students will be introduced to the concept of asking others for permission. This lesson serves as a gentle introduction to consent in the context of physical contact with others e.g. offering a hug to a friend. We will begin by discussing the need to ask permission in a range of scenarios including those in a classroom setting. We will role-play asking for permission politely, and the correct way to respond if someone says no. In the latter half of the lesson, the students will be introduced to the safe & unsafe touch rule.
