County Lines, Gangs, Weapons and Exploitation PSHE Lesson

2 HOURS - NEW FOR 2024 - An in-depth look at County Lines, who is at risk and how young people and the vulnerable are exploited. Students will uncover the dark truth behind the gang lifestyle, looking at some of Britain's most notorious gangs, assessing the recent successes of the police in smashing the system and making arrests. The lesson covers how gangs lure young people in, what it means to be a mule and the penalties gang members have faced for violence, drug dealing and weapon-trading. Students will explore how County Lines exploitation often affects males and females differently, how the vulnerable are turned into 'cuckoos', where to go for help if gangs touch our own lives in any way and much more.
