Driving + Travel Safety KS5 PSHE lesson
Getting Home Safely - New 2025 PSHE lesson focusing on the risks young people face as they travel home, from being with friends on a night out, or alone.
It covers two of the PSHE Association’s recommended points for KS5 (but could be used with KS4): H15. to manage personal safety in relation to travel, such as cycle safety, young driver safety, passenger safety, using licensed taxis and getting home safely.
H24. the risks of being a passenger with an intoxicated driver and ways to manage this. Students will complete a wide range of tasks, literacy-based, creative, analysis and clip tasks. Everything is editable and easy to just pick up and use. All information need is included. Includes sign-posting to further help provided from charities / hotlines.
