An updated and improved version of our 2020 lesson on the same subject. Students will examine LGBT+ rights in 5 different countries; Scotland, Jamaica, Uganda, America and Iran. They will compare and contrast the rights in order to give accurate and helpful travel advice to a young gay couple about to travel the world - who have these places on their itinerary. They will then focus on a question - should we be focusing LGBT+ activism for rights outside of the UK? Includes clip tasks, active tasks, creative tasks, comprehension, literacy and more. All editable and ready to go. One hour long, best suited UKS3 or KS4.
