Welcoming everyone KS1 PSHE lesson. An hour-long, detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for Year 1. In this lesson, the children will learn what it means to make people feel welcome and included. We will discuss equality and celebrating difference, as well as the reasons why we should always take steps to make sure that everyone feels welcome and included. We will read All Are Welcome by Alexandra Penfold and Suzanne Kaufman, before completing a set of activities linked to the text. The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.
