Sexual Harassment Introductory Lesson - Year 6
Sexual harassment - what is it and why do we need to learn about it? In this lesson, the students will revisit their previous knowledge of consent and personal boundaries, as we gently explore the concept of sexual harassment and the steps we can take to keep ourselves safe. Intended as a first introduction to the topic, the lesson is suitable for students in UKS2 (Year 6) or possibly LKS3 students in Year 7. The lesson itself explains the concept of sexual harassment carefully, addresses British laws with regard to privacy and discriminatory behaviour, but avoids using content or explicit examples that would be inappropriate with this age group.
