Teaching consent and healthy relationships helps students understand boundaries, respect and the importance of clear communication. This includes recognising appropriate and inappropriate behaviour, understanding consent and developing positive relationship skills.

This area is a key part of statutory RSHE, ensuring that students are prepared for safe and respectful relationships. A structured curriculum supports progression and provides consistency across year groups.
