Our progressive curriculum builds sequentially year-on-year, culminating in the Year 5 Respect and Relationships unit, which deepens students’ understanding of respectful interactions, friendships, and personal boundaries. Students will explore key concepts such as the importance of respect, strategies for building positive friendships, understanding peer pressure, managing dares and online challenges, and how to be an upstander in the face of bullying.

This free planning bundle includes a detailed scheme of work, a long-term plan showing our entire curriculum at a glance, a Year 5 roadmap clearly illustrating the progressive design across the year, and a comprehensive knowledge organiser highlighting key vocabulary and summarising the progression of skills and knowledge.
